At a glance
Five categories, one scale
Every number computed the same way in every category. Darker means higher within its column.
| Category | Integration, up to (100K–300K) | Write "sponsored" | Sponsored vs usual | Average overpays | Brands come back |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cooking | $450 | 42% | 0.99× | +53% | 34% |
| Tech & AI | $1,600 | 55% | 0.99× | +36% | 27% |
| Outdoor | $790 | 38% | 1.00× | +37% | 38% |
| Fitness | $600 | 24% | 0.98× | +31% | 29% |
| Beauty | $450 | 44% | 0.94× | +26% | 32% |
Each column has its own scale: darker is higher. Sponsored vs usual is drawn on a fixed 0.6–1.4× scale, so cells that barely differ look alike.
Finding 1
A long-form integration on a 100K–300K channel: $270–$450 in Cooking, $790–$1,600 in Tech & AI
The same subscriber count buys different audiences. We price each category's typical 100K–300K channel on the views its long-form videos actually get, at the rate per 1,000 views that published 2026 rate guides give for that niche: $18–$30 in Cooking, $25–$50 in Tech & AI. Views per video and the niche rate both move the price, so the same subscriber count can cost several times more.
An estimate for planning, not a quote. Each category report has the full tier-by-tier rate card.
Finding 2
A sponsored long-form video gets the channel’s usual views — in every category
Each long-form video with a paid-partnership line against the same channel's usual long-form video, counted the same way in every category (each report also counts discount codes, so its totals are larger). Across all 5 categories the median lands between 0.94× and 1.00×: a sponsored slot delivers the creator's typical video. Plan on the median, not on the channel's last viral hit.
Finding 3
Tech & AI writes "sponsored" most often (55%); Fitness least (24%)
The share of channels with an explicit paid-partnership line — "sponsored by", "thanks to … for sponsoring", #ad — in their latest uploads. Where the share is low, deals run on discount codes instead: map competitors by #ad alone and you miss them. The category reports break this down niche by niche.
Finding 4
Price on median views: an average-views rate overpays by 26%–53%
A few hits pull a channel's average views above its typical long-form video in every category. One video also lands under half the channel's median 11%–17% of the time; the average of a three-video package, 1%–3%.
Finding 5
27%–38% of brand partnerships come back for a second video
Creator–brand partnerships named in a paid-partnership line on two or more videos of the same creator. A brand that pays again is the closest public sign the first video worked.
Finding 6
Longer episodes beat the 8–18 minute baseline in 5 of 5 categories; 3–8 minute videos fall below it in 4
Each channel's long-form videos against its own 8–18 minute uploads. How clear the win is differs: check the share of channels where the longer length comes out ahead before treating it as a rule. If a creator offers a short cut, ask for the regular episode.
| Category | 3–8 min | Best longer length |
|---|---|---|
| Cooking | 0.72× | 18–30 min: 1.09× (wins on 62% of channels) |
| Tech & AI | 0.80× | 18–30 min: 1.21× (wins on 61% of channels) |
| Outdoor | 0.58× | 18–30 min: 1.19× (wins on 59% of channels) |
| Fitness | 0.97× | 18–30 min: 1.31× (wins on 74% of channels) |
| Beauty | 0.83× | 18–30 min: 1.30× (wins on 87% of channels) |
